Welcome to the site.

To be a RE investor means you make money doing deals of some sort involving RE. There are many different ways and some work better in specific markets.

I would get a strategy sorted before wasting time on a website. That way you can target the site to the way you want to conduct your business. Many investors do just fine without any site at all. Others would have no business if it was not for the internet.

My long term goal is to acquire at least 20-25 revenue producing houses in the next 2-3 years so that I can build passive residual income on a monthly basis. Right now I own one property that I purchased in January 2008 for $45k, and its worth roughly $80k presently. I have an extensive background in sales and negotiation, as well as customer service, and I have limited experience with rehabbing properties for my father during my college years.

I've talked to several investors and they are all lauding me for at least making the first step that most people never take, and that's actually buying a house and learning from the experience. The property I purchased has been tenant occupied for almost 7 years now and it will be her who ends up ultimately purchasing the property in the long run later on this year.
