Exclamation pretty bad when...

So this weekend I make my rounds through my rental properties and I get to one that I was expecting to not be taken care of.

I was correct for that matter but it wasn't because of the tenant. The tenant actually spent 2k to fix up the property.

The tenants had Charter Communications run cable at my property when they moved in and look how Charter installed the cabled.

Charter told the tenants that they use outside contractors and this is acceptable work.

I have the contact information for several of the c-level executives at Charter and I am going to let them see this video.

Boy this ticked me off!

Unacceptable, buddy. Charter needs to get someone out there pronto to fix that sorry excuse for an installation. Did they even have your permission to drill a hole like that?

I agree! It is very unacceptable for this to have happened. I plan on taking necessary steps to have them remedy this ASAP!

The bad part to this is the siding on this house is a form of ship-lap siding that was recalled in 1999 because of failure when open to the elements. It will not take much time at all for this siding to rot and cause me more issues.

that's why when you have a worker doing a job for you, you have someone watch them until they get done.
when insupervised people tend to be lazy and do shoddy work.
at least when someone is watching (doesn't have to be someone who knows what's going on either) they become more aware that there will be a witness to point out where they skipped corners.
especially people who get paid by the job and not be the hour!

I made the video private as 2 hours after posting this video a C-level executive called me to discuss this issue. It took them 24 hours to terminate the contractor and to resolve this issue.

I took it down out of respect for the company (they asked politely)

LOL
