Hey Steve I have read your post on getting business credit started. I have took the initiative of getting a couple of accounts with my FEIN.I have a D&B number but one problem I am going to run in to is using my personal address. I am trying to find a virtual office in Birmingham,AL. Is their any other way around using my personal address? I am trying to get everything organize so I will have everything in order when I apply for a business line of credit.Any info is appreciated. From what I have read using your personal address is a red flag.

Try using a mailboxes etc, or ups store or one of those types. They will give you a street address to put on forms etc.

I heard FLIPITBIG talk about virtual offices in Birmingham, AL a few months back. If I remember right they average $130 - $200 a month. Maybe he will chime in today.

I been online looking saw a few virtual office for 200. Talked them down to 135.Still researching. I appreciate the info

Some of the time the credit verification will test to see if the company phone number matches the office address. A real company with a presence vs. a virtual company. It can be a good test for the stability of the company.
